THE CHALLENGE:
In Kenya, free education stops at the eighth grade. Continuing education beyond that in secondary school requires tuition payment. At St. Paul’s Primary School, few students can afford the fees for even inexpensive secondary schools. Many of the brightest students at St. Paul’s end their schooling at eighth grade.
We give scholarships to top-scoring students who finish eighth grade at St. Paul’s Primary School. These scholarships pay the full cost of attending a well-regarded boarding secondary school (grades 9 – 12) for four years. There, the students receive an excellent education, setting them up for success in life. Small change for big futures.
WE NEED YOU.
The cost of attendance for one student is about $1000 per year. That cost includes tuition, room and board, and other required expenses. Only through the generosity of people like you can these students receive the education they deserve.
It was nice meeting a few of you on safari at Mara sopa lodge. IIt looks like you are doing great work! If you are interested the organization we were there working for, you can see at Mohiafrica.org . Keep up the good work!!
