Words From Students

Students write regular letters to WSI donors. We share some of those here.

Most Kenyans are fluent in three languages. English is taught in grade school and used in academic settings. Kenyans use a tribal language at home and with their family (there are 42 tribes in Kenya). They use Swahili as the common language of the street.
